Structerra was born out of the desire to establish an engineering firm that brings different elements together\u2014not just building materials. Structerra stands for order, concept and precision; Terra for nature, intuition and tradition. We are creative yet grounded, precise yet flexible, pragmatic yet visionary. After completing his diploma at the University of Thessaloniki (2012) and an MSc as an ETH Zurich scholarship holder (2014), Dimitrios began his career as a civil engineer at Basler & Hofmann AG. Over eleven years there, as a civil engineer, project manager and member of management, he had the opportunity to support prominent construction projects and clients. With further training in philosophy, computer science and higher education pedagogy, and in parallel as a lecturer at ZHAW since 2022\u2014currently as Deputy Head of the Civil Engineering degree programme\u2014Dimitrios enjoys taking on a variety of roles. At the end of 2025, he founded Structerra AG together with Karol.<\/p><\/div>\n \t\t\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Engineer, reviewer, versatile problem solver<\/p>\n


With a BSc from the Cracow University of Technology and an MSc from ETH Zurich, Karol began working at engineering firm Heierli AG while still studying. As a project engineer and later project manager, he gained experience on interdisciplinary building construction and infrastructure projects. His additional experience in geology, geotechnics and structural dynamics at J\u00e4ckli Geologie AG and Trombik AG, as well as three years of service as a building damage inspector at Baloise AG, complemented his diverse project portfolio, which ranges from expert reports and measurement campaigns to maintenance work at foreign nuclear power plants. At the end of 2025, he founded Structerra together with Dimitrios.<\/p><\/div>\n \t\t\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
